Canadian International School · Grade 9 Advisory · Restricted Archive
Several years ago, a group of Grade 9 students began investigating how life at CIS could be improved. They interviewed members of the community, collected evidence and started writing a student proposal.
The proposal was never completed.
Fragments of their investigation remain inside this archive. Each advisory must recover the fragments, learn from the original investigators’ mistakes and complete the missing final page.
The competition rewards the quality of the investigation, not speed. Advisories are assessed on evidence, range of perspectives, critical thinking, feasibility and potential community impact.
